Honey Bear is a brand new cabin, tucked inside the Ouachita National Forest - 1/2 mile from Cedar Creek Golf Course and just a 5-minute drive to Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake.
From the moment you drive up to the cabin, you'll know you have found the perfect romantic getaway furnished in rustic elegance and surrounded by a private heavily wooded acre. Children and furry family members are welcomed as there is additional sleeping space available.
Completed in September, 2009, Honey Bear combines all the comforts of home with the beauty of the area's native rock in a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and knotty pine wood interior. The expansive windows and vaulted ceilings throughout give an open and airy feeling with a view of nature from every room. You can sip your coffee from the porch rockers on the covered front deck, or on the upstairs covered deck off the master bedroom.
After a long day at Beavers Bend State Park or Broken Bow Lake, you will love coming home to star gaze while relaxing in your bubbly hot tub, complete with a privacy fence, while listening to the symphony of nearby tree frogs and crickets. A variety of board games and DVDs are provided for indoor entertainment.
Enjoy preparing your favorite meals and snacks in a kitchen that is fully stocked and furnished with everything you need, including stainless steel appliances.
Honey Bear cabin will soon become your favorite getaway destination.

With advance notice, you can place your order with Beavers Bend Adventures to have your kitchen stocked with your favorite grocery items, wine and fresh flowers. You may also want to schedule a 1-hour massage in the private and peaceful surroundings of your cabin.
